Frederique Constant, in its current form, was founded in 1988. Aletta Bax and Peter Stas launched their first collection in 1992, consisting of six models equipped with Swiss movements and assembled by a watchmaker in Geneva. Watches manufactured under its brand are designed by Frederique Constant or by independent designers commissioned for a specific series of models. Great emphasis is placed on the design of the watch to keep up with trends and customer preferences.
